What do other club members think of this new class for new entrants to hillclimbs, is it a good idea or not? If not, what is wrong with it?

Is this class for complete novices only?? The regs state you must have a National B licence, but also suggest it's only open to newcomers.. I've completed in a few events in the past and I'm considering entering just a couple of events next year in my standard road car. This class would be perfect.

This class is intended for those who have never entered, or those who have only entered on a very occasional basis with road going cars, in full road going trim, in hillclimbs. So from what you have said in your e-mail it seems that this is the class for you.

Due to inquires to the new hillclimb class there have been a couple of very minor adjustments to the regulations, which should not affect those who have already contacted me about entering. See

The changes must be minor, as I can't even spot them! All being well, I'm aiming to enter the mighty Primera in the class on 28th April.

Have a look at para's 3, 7, 11 and 13; and as you say they are minor.

has anybody thought about the fact that there will be no bogey time...you will end up with this new class getting a lot of points due to having no records from last year!! Crying or Very sad

The regulations for this new class state that competitors in the class will not be eligible to score points in any championship, so fear not!

With the success of the Woolbridge new starter class for speed events over it's first two years of running I have approached the club committee with a change to the regulations , which they have approved.

This change is to remove the class capacity limit. the updated class regulations are on the Woolbridge website at:
