Yes, you are correct. It was at the request of Longleat Estate.

Their summer season is extending into September due to their Passport tickets allowing visitors to return at a later date. It would seem that more and more families are returning in September. As we have to close the main entrance/exit road from the house for the event, it causes a substantial amount of disruption.

After their request to move it to October/November we agreed to move it to July for 2008
