Hi,

Below is some feed back received from competitors on the Woolbridge April Wiscombe Park meetings. I think everyone deserves a pat on the back, so well done to all.

Please note I have only put the "Letter" of the first name as this can be read internet wide, but the club does have full details of who sent them in.

Cheers,

Tony.

Hi Gwyneth,

I just wanted to say a big thank you to yourself and all the other members of your organising team for making last weekend so enjoyable. I have been competing for several years but the very friendly and helpful approach of Woolbridge MC made a very refreshing and welcome change. Wiscombe also proved to be one of the most challenging hills yet experienced.

Despite the very considerable distance involved, I would definitely hope to be back next time the TVR Championship visits Wiscombe.

Thanks once again.
S

Gwyneth

Many thanks for the hospitality you showed us last weekend at the hillclimb.

This was my very first hillclimb event and enjoyed every moment of the weekend.

Myself, Richard West and Philip West would be very interested in tackling the Longleat climb in September.

Many thanks again
J

Thanks Gwyneth – it was a great weekend and the organisation was first class.
Can you guarantee the weather in July – this is the question?!

Best regards,
D

Hi there Gwyneth,

Thanks for sending thought the results, very good of you, as i didnt pick up the results from Saturday.

I had never competed or even been to Wiscombe for that matter, and It was an awesome event! The organisation was spot on. Couldnt of asked the day to run any smoother. The fabulous weather made it all better too.

So you can give yourself and the rest of the organisers and of course the marshalls a big pat on the back, and i will be sure to come back for years to come.

Thanks again, and look forward to returning later on in the year.

Cheers
R

Gwyneth, thank you for the results, which I had already found on the Woolbridge site - most impressively efficient.

Thank you to everyone for making it such an enjoyable weekend and for saving the cup!!

Best wishes
G

Gwyneth - Yours being the only Email contact address which I have, could I ask you please to pass on, to whoever was involved in the decision, my appreciation for the award of the Neville Heath Memorial Trophy.

This means more to me than any of you probably realise, as I knew Neville and greatly admired his approach to Motor Sport and to life in general, so any association with his memory is something which gives me both pride and pleasure.

I should perhaps also mention that when, at school, I spent my time doodling pictures of cars when supposed to be doing my homework, they always turned out looking like Dellows !!

G

Excellent weekend. Fanatastic venue, great organisation, looking forward to my next visit.

cheers C

Thanks to all the organisers Gwyneth- Simon and I had a great day on Saturday.I think he is a Wiscombe convert now. regards Clive

Gwyneth

Thanks to you and all of the club for a great day on Saturday.

Regards
J

Hi Gwyneth,

Thanks so much to you and ALL the 'Woolbridge Wiscombe Team' for another great week-end
of Motorsport.

Don't know how you managed to order up such superb weather - but wasn't it just glorious!
There is no better venue than Wiscombe when the sun shines.

We lost a red plastic battery cut-out / ignition switch with silver key attached, somewhere in the
Motorhome Paddock after loading the Elan - so if anyone found one, it's probably ours!!!

Many thanks once again.

Best wishes,
J

Gwyneth,

Could you please thank all involved in last weekends Wiscombe.
Great weather, Great Hill I could not have wished for better and to top it all a couple of glass tankards thrown in for good measure.

All the best
G

Gwyneth,

If you get the opportunity please could you pass on my thanks to all involved in organising the Wiscombe event last weekend. I attended on Saturday and had an excellent time (certainly one of the best events that I've attended). Everything seemed to run like clockwork, and every official that I met was of the friendly type. Hope to see you again at a future Woolbridge event.

Thanks again,
D

Gwyneth

Many thanks to you and all at the Club for a superb weekend.

Especial thanks to the Marshals, recoverery team, and Doctor for their expert handling of my "Off" at Sawbench - thankfully it didnt stop me running Sunday.

Best Regards
P

I would like to thank the organisers and the marshalls who helped me after I broke a driveshaft on the first timed run on the Saturday, and to the two fellow competitors who I won't name but one offered me the driveshaft from his wifes car and the other to double drive a rare French left hooker mid engined hatchback. Both offers I had to refuse for fear of damaging the cars if I had a mishap either refitting the shaft or driving a left hand drive car.
I stayed for the whole weekend and enjoyed the event spectating and socialising, brilliant.
Wiscombe is a great place and the competitors and organisers too.
Regards Jeff
