Andy, is the LSD a Quaife unit or ford?

The reason I ask is that radicals use a quaife unit which is filled with grease, not oil. Do you know if yours is similar to a radical one?

Regards

Martin

hi martin, the diff is a standard ford rs turbo ,with a fabricated ali cover ,ive contradicting advice on this subject, my own idea is to just fill half way. it has a filler one side and a bleed nipple the other so would be difficult to get the cover anymore than half full!! i have some oil that is used in the rs turbo gearbox so i just was going to use that i had heard about the radicals using grease but again others have said they dont it depends on who you ask. i was thinking of going to the sprint at castle coombe next month to ask around the paddock if i couldnt find out before.

Andy,
Not a clue on the diff but do have a Blue Book that you are welcome to. PM me your address and I can post. Alternatively, if you still work with Alex in Exeter I can drop it if at his place, or if you are going to Clay Pigeon on Sunday I can get it there with a competitor
Car looks good bye the way, look forward to seeing it out.

Regards. Wilt
